Listings of estates papers that related to the settlement of a person's estate. These papers are filed first by county and then in folders arranged by name and date. These listings were compiled by volunteers and then proofed by staff members. At this time, the listings of names do not link to images of the actual documents.

Counties for which lists are available at this time include: Alamance, Alexander, Alleghany, Bute, Cabarrus, Camden, Catawba, Cherokee, Clay, Cleveland, Columbus, Dare, Durham, Gaston, Graham, McDowell, Macon, Martin, Mitchell, Moore, Pamlico, Pender, Polk, Stanly, Transylvania, and Yancey.
